   • Achieved average ammonium and nitrite removal efficiencies above 90% in marine bioreactor experiments at dissolved oxygen up to 4.9 mg/L.
   • Conducted water quality analyses to assess nitrogen compound removal efficiency.
   • Generated experimental evidence supporting anammox-based nitrogen removal in oxygenated aquaculture systems.
   • Presented findings to international audiences in Sweden, Norway and Iceland.
